Growing
up as a rambunctious troublemaker, I was always into something!
I did all I could to run my mom ragged and turn her hair
gray as soon as possible. With my brother, Alex, as my
sidekick, we did a great job. From an early age I was
always in the kitchen. I had to be where the action was!
I loved helping my mom bake pies, cookies, and best of
all, cinnamon rolls. I loved those cinnamon rolls! I could
eat dozens of them, and I did. It didn’t take long
before I was eating everything I could get my hands on,
from sticks of butter to spoonfuls of cookie dough! If
you couldn’t tell from my “healthy”
eating habits, I was a pudgy kid. I just couldn’t
resist. I mean, come on! Food was just too good! As my
tastes became more refined, I realized that desserts were
only the tip of the iceberg. Mexican, Italian, Chinese,
Thai, French - the possibilities never ended.
I met my wife, Elizabeth,
in Seattle, and we married in October 2000. After a brief
stop in Miami we were off to the Big Apple! New York City
had endless opportunities, and we were ready to make our
mark. It’s the place to be for me, as a model, and
Elizabeth, as a makeup artist. We were both wide-eyed
and optimistic about the future. READ
